With 2026 underway, it’s a good moment to pause, reflect, and look ahead.  

The past year marked a period of strong progress for Tirion Homes — with major developments completed, communities strengthened, and our approach recognised across the sector.

Importantly, it reaffirmed our strong belief that affordable housing can be delivered when innovative long-term finance, partnership and shared purpose come together.

Building on strong foundations

Over the last year, we’ve continued to deliver high-quality homes through the regeneration of complex sites that others have struggled to unlock. We’ve seen the positive impact of well-designed, tenure-blind neighbourhoods — not just in bricks and mortar, but in community pride, stability and the wellbeing of all our residents.

We’ve grown our role as a long-term steward of places through our property and estate management services that focus on care, transparency and community cohesion — not short-term lip service.

The foundations we have built give us confidence as we look to the year ahead.

What excites us about the year ahead

The challenges facing housing in Wales are well understood — from viability constraints to the need for sustainable, low-carbon homes. What excites us is the opportunity to keep playing a constructive role in addressing these challenges and accelerating the delivery of high-quality, affordable homes.

In the year ahead, we’re focused on:

• Unlocking new regeneration opportunities, particularly stalled regeneration sites that require innovative thinking, low-carbon solutions and alternative financing that minimises public subsidy

• Delivering more affordable, high-quality homes, built to the same standard regardless of tenure

• Strengthening partnerships with local authorities, Government, housebuilders, contractors, investors and community organisations

• Continuing to put people and place first, ensuring our developments are of the highest standard and communities are supported long after homes are completed

We remain committed to working collaboratively, sharing risk responsibly, and delivering outcomes that stand the test of time.
