Tirion Homes celebrates double win at the Welsh Housing Awards

Tirion Homes is proud to announce that Royal Victoria Court in Newport has been recognised with two major awards at the Welsh Housing Awards: Developing High Quality Homes and Excellence in the Private Rented Sector.  

These awards highlight our commitment to high-quality delivery, long-term partnerships, and community-focused regeneration.

Winner: Developing High Quality Homes

Royal Victoria Court – Lovell Partnerships, in partnership with Tirion Homes, Welsh Government and Hedyn.

This award recognises organisations delivering outstanding new social and affordable homes across Wales. Royal Victoria Court is a flagship example of how innovative funding, strong collaboration, and purposeful design can unlock previously unviable land and create vibrant communities.

Winner: Excellence in the Private Rented Sector

This award celebrates excellence and innovation in the private rented sector. Our approach at Royal Victoria Court places tenants at the centre — offering secure contracts, below-market rents, human-led referencing and strong community engagement.

It shows what a modern, ethical private rented sector can look like.
