Chad Patel

Chad has over 40 years’ experience in the finance and treasury management disciplines in the professional, private and quasi-public sector. He has worked in accountancy firms, international manufacturing companies and housing organisations. Prior to joining Tirion, Chad was the Managing Director and Group Finance Director for Hendre, a major housing association in South Wales. Whilst at Hendre, Chad was instrumental in driving financial efficiency and treasury management to deliver the funding needed for non-grant aided developments of housing and care facilities. He also initiated and implemented a new corporate structure; initiated and completed the acquisition of new businesses and lead internal reorganization. Chad joined Tirion as a consultant in 2013 and became the Group Finance Director in 2019 on a part-time basis and became full-time in 2021.

Outside the employment/consultancy positions, Chad has served as the Treasurer of Welsh Council for Voluntary Organisations (WCVA) an umbrella body for the charitable sector in Wales; Finance Director for Tennis Wales, the national governing body for tennis in Wales.
